Virtual DBT Skills Group for Teens

I offer a 12-week course of virtual Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills training sessions for teens ages 15-19. Sessions are dynamic and include engaging teaching, discussion, videos, exercises, and small groups.

Participants are given homework assignments each week and gain access to our group padlet with a variety of resources and all the skills we learn in group.

Enrollment includes a 30-minute parent consultation.
​
Help your teen connect with others with similar struggles, reducing isolation and shame.​

What is DBT?
A type of therapy designed for individuals who struggle with intense emotions and difficulty in relationships. Originally it was intended to address the issues for people with Borderline Personality Disorder, but the skills are useful for anyone who struggles with some of the following:

How and when are meetings?
Meetings are Thursdays from 8:00-9:00PM EST. We meet virtually via Zoom. Groups are ongoing and participation requires a 12-week commitment. If you cannot make this time, I encourage you to reach out anyway as I will be opening up new times based on the need.
What is the cost?
The cost for the entire 12-week course is $500 ($41 per session). Payment must be made in full and is through Venmo, Paypal, or Zelle. If you live in Georgia I take Aetna and United insurance, and if you live in Arizona, New Jersey, or Florida I take Aetna. All other states and insurances are self-pay.
Am I required to participate?
While you are not required to share, members are encouraged to participate actively to get the most out of group and connect with others. Videos must remain on for the entirety of group.
